CCMD Night at the IceHouse Mar. 31
The CCMD HOA Community Activities Committee will present a special performance of "Good News" at Mt. Dora's Ice House Theater on Wednesday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m.
You'll be toe-tapping at this feel-good musical comedy. Tait College is still caught up in the social scene of the Roaring Twenties, and star football player Tom Marlowe is expected to lead the football team to victory ("Good News"). Of course, since Tom is the star football player, "He's a Lady's Man", according to the sorority girls. Tait College campus life continues with faculty, and sports, of course. Hum along to old favorites such as Button Up Your Overcoat, The Best Things In Life Are Free, Together, My Lucky Star, You're The Cream in my Coffee, The Varsity Drag, Lucky In Love, Keep Your Sunny Side Up, and Life Is Just A Bowl Of Cherries.
Tickets $23 or 2 for $45 and will be sold by neighborhood representatives (to be announced). Seats will not be reserved. Wine, soft drinks, etc. will be served at intermission. For more information, contact Dennis West (383-6224) or John Drew (383-7522)
