The minutes of the last meeting which was Nov. 20 had been sent out to the Committee. The minutes were accepted as printed.
The Treasurer reports no change of the balance in the bank account of $2156.45. The report was accepted as presented. There was some discussion regarding the money. It was decided that the original use for the money may still be valid in the future.
Committee Reports
Greens: The course is in great shape. The tree on #3 Green which was hit by lightning will stay as is for a while. Over seeding has taken place. The Well Pump has been replaced at considerable expense. Expenses such as this would be helped if we could get 40 or 50 new members. The new flags for use by players with handicaps are not in yet available. Anyone who wishes one will apply by writing to the Club C/O the Greens Committee. They will issue the new flags and the rules which govern them
Golf: All tournaments have been scheduled through April. See Pro Shop for details.
House: There is much to be applauded with a few adjustments here and there. It was suggested that since the Club is a member of the Chamber of Commerce it could have advertising put out through them. Mr. Martin will work with Nancy McAleer on this.
Food: As previously suggested there is a new menu for Wednesday nights. All groups have found the kitchen people to be easy to work with. Food has been great.
Tennis: No report
Pool: With the weather so frigid the pool is not being heated. However the Spa is operating and Mr. Martin says it is being maintained at around 100 degrees. Heaters for the regular pool need to be repaired or replaced.
Old Business
We are using several methods to advise members and home owners of the Golf Club Members Annual Meeting on January 11, 2010 at 7:00 PM at the Clubhouse. An email will be sent to those members for whom the Club has an address. An email will be sent via the HOA email tree. The agenda will be posted on the HOA website and in the Clubhouse. A notice will also be posted on the front message board. Any questions at the meeting not Involving the Golf Club Members or Club will be referred to the HOA.
Since a second microphone does not exist in the clubhouse, questioners will be asked to stand up when they are asking a question.
Special emphasis on the meeting place at the Clubhouse, and not downtown.
The Nominating Committee has presented a slate: new to the board, Linda Kepler, and extending their terms, Cal Shuster and Raoul Barker.
New Business
The next meeting of the Members Committee will be Friday, March 5, 2010 at 3 PM.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:45 PM.
