City Recycle Pickup Suggestions
The City of Mount Dora Public Works Department has additional yellow recycle bins available from their facility at the corner of Lincoln and Highland. The city has also received stickers that can be placed on one's own tote to identify that it contains recyclable material. The stickers are available at City Hall in the City Manager’s Office, and at the Public Works Facility at the corner of Lincoln and Highland. I have a number of stickers as well if people want to call, and come by for them.
After a discussion with the City Manager, and the Public Works Director, it has been suggested that residents place all their recyclable material on one side of their driveway along with the yellow bin, and place the trash on the other side of their driveway, it would help with some of the inconsistencies in reported pickups.
